H&R Pure Water

Overview

H&R Pure Water is the exclusive Waterlogic distributor in Cyprus, providing bottle-free water-cooler solutions to offices, hotels, cafés and private homes. The company markets itself on sustainability, removing single-use plastic bottles, and on the health benefits of its Firewall UV-purified water. Before turning to us, its new business pipeline depended mainly on personal referrals and cold calls, leaving monthly lead volume unpredictable and hard to scale.

The Challenge

When H&R Pure Water first considered Google Search they faced a perfect storm of obstacles. The bottled-water rental market in Cyprus is crowded with local dealers who have been bidding on the same generic keywords for years. That saturation pushed average cost-per-click above two euros for broad phrases such as “water cooler Cyprus”, making every wasted click expensive.

At the same time, much of the online traffic was either price-shopping consumers or DIY hobbyists looking for replacement filters, people who would never rent the high-end, service-contract machines that H&R provides.

Adding to the competitive pressure, a handful of international brands were spending heavily on brand-name campaigns, so H&R’s ads risked being crowded out unless they found under-served search niches.

Internally the firm had no dedicated marketing analyst, so management lacked both the time and the tools to dig through Google’s data, isolate profitable search terms and update ads week by week. Their existing website did not track phone-call conversions, meaning any previous ad spend had been judged on clicks alone rather than real enquiries.

What we Delivered

We began with thorough keyword research to uncover exactly how potential customers describe their needs, surfacing intent-rich phrases such as “office water dispenser Cyprus” and “sparkling water cooler rental.” Using these insights we set up a new Google Search campaign structured into tightly themed ad groups, each paired with its own landing page that mirrored the searcher’s context, hotel managers saw hospitality-focused copy, while homeowners read about compact kitchen units.

A robust and continuously updated negative-keyword list filtered out irrelevant searches like “used cooler parts” so budget went only to genuine prospects. Once live, the account was monitored every week: bids were tuned, low-converting terms paused, winning search queries added, and landing-page wording refined to keep forms short and persuasive.

Over the first six months, this approach more than doubled monthly qualified enquiries, from roughly sixty to about one hundred and forty, while cutting the average cost per enquiry from thirteen euros to just over seven euros.

By matching ads to intent with research-driven keywords, protecting spend through negatives, aligning each ad group with a specific landing page, and committing to ongoing optimisation, we transformed Google Search into a reliable, cost-efficient growth engine for H&R Pure Water.
